Where are my apps and data hosted?#
In Canada, on servers we operate in a ServerMania data centre in Montreal. Your applications and data are hosted there, and customer content is stored in Canada by default. See Canadian data residency.
Does any of my data leave Canada?#
Your apps' data stays in Canada by default. Account, billing and sign-in data is processed by a small set of providers in the United States, such as our payment processor and our email provider. Optional AI features also use providers outside Canada, and they are off until your organization turns them on. The Security & Trust page lists every provider.

Plans and pricing#
What does it cost, and in what currency?#
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Starter is $20 CAD a month including $20 of usage, and Business is $50 CAD a month including $50 of usage. Beyond the included usage you pay for what your apps use. Applicable sales taxes are added at invoicing. See Pricing.
Can my team sign in with Microsoft?#
Yes, on the Business plan: Microsoft Entra ID sign-in and group sync. Organization roles and invites are on every plan. See Pricing.
Deploying#
What can I deploy?#
Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP, Go, Java and Elixir apps with no Dockerfile, anything with a Dockerfile, and static sites. See Apps.
Do you offer managed Postgres and backups?#
Yes. Managed Postgres databases are backed up every night and continuously in between, kept for 30 days, and can be restored to a new database at any moment in that window. See App dependencies.
Can I use my own domain?#
Yes. Point your domain at your app and Nimbus Land requests and renews its certificate automatically. See Custom domains.
AI and Claude#
Do you use AI on my data?#
Features that send content to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic and Google) are off by default. They run only after an owner or admin of your organization acknowledges that the content leaves Canada. See the AI gateway guide.
Can I deploy and manage apps from Claude?#
Yes. The Nimbus Land connector lets Claude check, debug and deploy your apps from a conversation. See Host an app you built with Claude.
Status#
How do I see if the platform is up?#
The status page shows current platform status and incident history. It is hosted separately from the platform so it stays reachable during an outage.
